How to play
Real Bitcoin market. Real-time candles. Catch points for 60 seconds per round!
Real market, real candles
- Falling candles use completed 1-second BTC/USDT candles from Binance. Their prices and colors come from live market data, not a random generator.
- Green: the closing price is higher than the opening price. Red: it is lower. Gray: the opening and closing prices are equal.
- Power-up drops and map selection follow the game’s rules separately from market candle data. The game starts only when live data is ready. If the live feed disconnects, the timer, character, falling candles and items, power-up durations, gray streak, item schedule, and round transitions freeze together. If data returns within 15 seconds, a 3–2–1 countdown plays before resuming from the same positions. New candles use the latest live data; missed candles are not replayed. If reconnection fails, the unfinished game is not saved and you can try again.
Guest or account? Your choice.
- Play as guest: enter an available username and jump in. No account is required. Guest usernames are not reserved.
- Play with account: create an account to reserve a unique username. No email or password is required. Other players cannot register that name or use it as a guest. Uppercase and lowercase versions count as the same name.
- Save your private login key: it is shown once when the account is created. Save it before continuing, and use it to log in again. Anyone with the key can access the account. Never share it publicly.
- Optional verification: verify ownership of a Bitcointalk or X account by following the public proof-code instructions in the account panel. For Bitcointalk, add your generated code to a public profile field or your own post (new or edited older post), outside quotes, then submit its direct link. Your forum username must match your game username. Verification is separate from creating an account. Never publish your login key as a proof code.
- Names and badges: guests appear gray with a Guest tag in the Leaderboard and Recent Games. Registered names use the normal dark text. A Bitcointalk or X badge indicates verified ownership of that external account.

Gray candlesEvery 4 candles you catch
+1point
- Every 4 gray candles earn 1 point. An unfinished group of 1–3 adds no points.
- Red costs points, but never ends the game. Negative scores are allowed.
Gray streak = extra time
- Catch 10 gray candles without missing a gray to earn +5 seconds.
- You can earn this bonus twice per round: up to +10 seconds in Single Round, or 6 bonuses / +30 seconds across Three Rounds. Missing a gray resets the streak; green and red do not.
- Magnet catches count toward the gray streak. Your progress appears above the character when you catch a gray.
Power-ups 6 seconds each
- BIG: green and red points ×3, movement speed ×4, candle size ½.
- MINI: green and red points ×10, movement speed ⅛, candle size ×2.
- MAGNET: gives +5 points once when picked up, then pulls in green, red, and gray candles for 6 seconds. It does not attract power-up items; catch those yourself. Captured candles keep their normal values, including red penalties.
- Big and Mini multiply green and red candle points only. Gray candle points are never multiplied.
Controls & rounds
- Desktop: ← / →, A / D, or move with your pointer. Mobile: swipe or hold the left/right buttons.
- Single Round: play one 60-second round on your chosen map. Three Rounds: play three 60-second rounds; their scores add up. In normal games, the maps are different. Choose from Beach, Sakura Garden, Snow Village, Harbor, Sky Islands, Outer Space, and San Francisco. New setups choose a random arena and character; you can change both. In normal Three Rounds games, your chosen arena comes first, followed by two random standard arenas without repeats. Competition codes may instead assign a fixed arena order, which can include repeats. Only the background crossfades and gently shakes, beginning 2 seconds before a round ends and finishing 2 seconds into the next. Movement, falling candles, power-ups, and the timer continue normally. Your character keeps its position.
- The timer keeps running during a manual pause or while in another tab. A detected live-data disconnection freezes the game until reconnection and the 3–2–1 countdown finish.
Leaderboard & competitions
- Single Round ranks only games played in Single Round mode. Three Rounds ranks only the total from completed Three Rounds games. Scores stay separate between these two leaderboards.
- Weekly starts Monday at 00:00 UTC. All Time includes every v1.1 run. Competition scores follow the same period filter: All Time keeps the history for that code, while Weekly shows the current week. Weekly filtering never deletes older scores.
- Choose a competition code of 1–24 letters and numbers before playing; symbols and spaces inside a code are not allowed. Codes are not case-sensitive. Ordinary codes need no setup. Use a shared code to play with friends, groups, or run an online tournament. Only runs started with that same code appear in its Competition leaderboard. These scores also compete in the Global Weekly and All Time leaderboards. Scores appear after the full run finishes and the save confirmation appears. The Competition tab opens automatically with your code and the matching Single Round / Three Rounds filter.
- Some codes apply custom arenas or a preset character. Locked choices cannot be changed. Custom sponsor arenas are available through their assigned codes. Competition settings apply when you start a game, including Play again; normal Three Rounds games continue to randomize arenas.
- Event dates, eligibility, prizes, and result submission follow the organizer’s rules. Entering a code does not guarantee a prize. To arrange a branded arena or event, contact the creator.
- Each leaderboard shows the best score per username. Recent Games shows the latest 20 saved games for the selected period and competition, so the same username can appear more than once. Usernames are public. Create an account to reserve yours and log in with a private login key. Reserved names cannot be used by guests or other accounts. Bitcointalk and X verification are optional and separate from logging in.
Read your result
- Click the blue score breakdown button to cycle through item subtotals → score calculations → the main result. Positive subtotals appear green, negative subtotals red, and zero uses dark text. The Total stays visible in both breakdown views.
- The message above your score changes with your result. Three Rounds uses score thresholds three times those of Single Round. These messages are just for fun and do not affect points or leaderboard rankings.
- If a completed result fails to save, use Retry score upload. Wait for the save confirmation before submitting a result link for a competition.
Community, records & history
- Open Data for last week’s Global winners, recent milestones, all-time standouts, and past weekly leaderboards. Single Round and Three Rounds stay separate.
- Highest averages require at least 10 saved games in that mode. A standout or activity mention does not automatically award an achievement. Achievement titles require an eligible registered account.
- Use FAQ for account, achievement, and competition details.
Share a score, start a challenge
- After the result is saved, Share link shares only its result URL and Run ID. Share image and Download PNG use the character played in that run.
- Opening a result link shows the saved result. Challenge accepted! opens the start form, where the visitor chooses guest or account and game settings before pressing Play.
- After a run, Play again keeps your character and settings. Single Round keeps its arena; Three Rounds selects new arenas. Menu returns to game settings. A Run ID identifies one game; the private login key grants account access. See FAQ for competition submission and account details.
Candles follow completed Binance BTC/USDT 1-second candles: green when close > open, red when close < open, gray when equal. Shared score links are verified by the server.
